eventually causing a cavity. The causes of tooth decay are not flossing every day, not brushing your teeth twice a day, and eating foods with high sugar content. This is why it is extremely important to maintain great oral hygiene.
One of the most common symptoms of tooth decay is a toothache. Irritation to the tooth pulp is what usually triggers the pain to start. Loose fillings from your cavities are also a contributing factor. Bad breath and a broken tooth are also signs of tooth decay. Eating sweets and really hot or cold foods will also cause more pain to the tooth if decay is present and untreated.
